After the smashing First night with Oliver Huntemann and Johannes Heil ( Live) during the Amsterdam Dance Weekend, Audio Illustrated is back with a line up that makes you already drawl, Holland's first Audio Visual Dance label will show it's face in 2008!
On April 11th, Studio80 will open its doors for a very special audio-visual spectacle. The former VPRO studio, much known for its great sound system and spot on programming, will be pimped by the guys from Audio Illustrated with beamers, effects and screens, while the dj booth will be equipped with the new Pioneer DVJ gear.
The first of a new series of club nights by Audio Illustrated is all about cutting edge visuals, combined with today's hottest sounds, the latest technology and audio visual talents. Up and coming DVJ act Eye Fi aka Cenk Unis ( Audio Illustrated), Jason Lanox, Duotone en French artist extra ordinaries Anima are being represented from Audio Illustrated.
Besides that we have Wunderkind Petter Nordkvist from James Holden's imprint "Border Community" Only 23 years of age, Petter is considered one of the hottest producers from around the world. His first release "These Days" that he wrote when he was just 17 is still considered a masterpiece and ever since his first release it's been one rollercoaster of fresh and innovating sounds and grooves, leaving everybody speechless. His latest piece de resistance "Some Polyphony" has been a major crossover hit all over the world. At the moment, Petter is busy working on his first artists album for James Holden's Border Community and it's with great pride that Audio Illustrated presents Petter on the 11th of aril.
VJ's E202 and Kleurbleur will paint the pictures on the walls this night. Less is more, so keep an eye out for the crazy world of these innovating artists.
Amsterdam's favorite Robert Powlson, backed by Tommy Kornuit and Tom Datema will bring the best in Minimal Techno. Last but not least , art collective Bier en Brood will have themselves inspired during the night for a live art piece!
